What a lovely day, I really wouldn't mind if it stayed like this for a week or 2 then the high move up just enough to by then give us a cold easterly, unfortunately back to wet in the couple of days though.  :nonono:

The GEFS flirts with a slight snow risk towards the end of the first week of Winter ...Wouldn't get too excited but it's nice to see.

Temp is currently plummeting 5.3c very 'cold' day - compared to what we've been used to.

Triumphs mild every time - the air is clean and distilled. I love it :D

First air frost is destined 21:13 - 1.1c let's hope we get no annoying cloud

Afternoon

This mornings cold start was a shock to the system, not helped by the rain earlier, car door was welded shut with the ice, lucky the passenger side was more protected.  First time I have had to de-ice the car this season.

Turned into a nice and sunny day, still nippy out during the day according to the smokers at work, I thought it was not so bad when I left this afternoon.  In typical fashion as soon as the sun came out the vampires, I mean office staff started shutting the blinds.

Lovely sunny day with a high of 7C with light winds. Perfect late Autumn day. Bring on the frost.

Probably -1 to +2 in inland parts though places in the east and south may see the temperatures lift as an onshore wind develops as well as high cloud spreading north from France.

Just back from a quick trip to the local shop and it is very cold out again, no frost yet but all the signs there will be one by morning.

Fog has formed pretty quickly over the past hour here. Not too thick here but guess it will already be thick north of the city so my journey to work will be fun :p

Got frost here in Dover, must be really cold away from the coast, It's the first proper frost I've seen since I moved here in July last year. Starting to see some cloud so may warm up a little soon.

Late night special from the GFS 18z - a slither of -14 uppers into the SE = Snow Fest there'd be nothing marginal about that setup, meanwhile at this present time just above freezing point 0.4c. :)
