The light fog cleared around 12ish I think, then it was cloudy with the sun trying to poke through. Now it's still cloudy there has been some light drizzle. There's also quite a breeze blowing, looking at the clouds it seems to be northerly based, maybe with some east drift to it.

Mine's been too wet to mow for a good 6 weeks, With the mild wet spells, it's grown ridiculously. May need one of those flail machines in the spring.

First morning of winter is a gloomy breezy one! December already :cray: time flies when you're old :cray:  soon it will be Christmas again :cray: My hazelnut tree has only just started losing its leaves, usually they are gone by the second week of November! :cray: Starting mildish then cooling off before a brief colder snap towards the end of the week. Then milder westerlies will push back in later.....maybe! :cray:

Decorations are already up here, not my idea mind you :p

Cloudy start here, not the way I really wanted winter to start, expect a lot of cloud this week as we remain under a light to moderate easterly flow with temperatures around 6-9C. 

Hopefully later on Friday we should see a cold front push south to bring brighter conditions.

Chilly, cloudy and dull is all I can say this morning, feels quite strange tbh. Sort of chilly and mild together if that makes sense. May be it's when the wind blows it feels colder.

That was a great forecast thank you , also winter does not start till 21st of December so why are people saying it's winter today ?

Cool continental air feeding into the SE now. A raw breeze and 6.2c here. The air is drying everything up nicely . Despite 850pha temps of 8c is does feel cold, so maybe an inversion setting up. Either way it's going to feel bitter come Thursday/fri.

At least an average start to Winter, charts in FI look great for Christmas shame they will probably change by tomorrow  :sorry:

We managed to decorate the house without arguing too much about what should go where! (Some people don't have a clue and they all live in my house) :bomb::ninja: Just got some spare lights and wondering where to stick them (I can suggest a few places) ! Now we just have to wait for the cat to turn up and destroy everything! :ninja: Oh..........weather.......err cold breeze today and the temperature just struggled past 7c! It felt cold out and most of the day was gloomy! Garden is looking autumnal, leaves falling off the trees, still got carrots, beetroots and those long red things growing in my garden!
