Dunno if anyones clocked on but temps are actually falling across the south east right now according to xc weather!! Probably due to the colder air that is over the netherlands making its way over the north sea!!

It's a bloody awful day here. Chilly, dank and drizzly. I've not seen the Sun since Sunday morning, the car didn't start this morning and I'm frankly sick and tired of it.

 

Come on Atlantic front and clear this dire rubbish!

Just waiting for the outdoor temp sensor to kick back in (batteries had come loose), currently tells me it is 11.2oC and I know that is not right. Dull and Cold out, just been out to post a letter, only a few minutes walk but needed that warm coat on.

Temp dropping as the day has gone on, ATM down to 2.1C under grey skies.

Same here 3.5C the Met O always outdo the maxima...it's ridiculous! Nagging easterly wind... as the continent has cooled down sufficiently to bring some rawness, unlike last time.

Mine is working again and still coming down, was at 5.9oC a short while ago.

There is an atlantic storm coming next week !

 

Temp dropping as the day has gone on, now down to 2.1C under grey skies.

For some reason my temp is rising! :cc_confused: 4.4c  this morning, now 4.7c

For some reason my temp is rising! :cc_confused: 4.4c  this morning, now 4.7c

I think the colder air is just clipping the far South East.

what a horrible day.  cold and damp. temperature is raw and around 4c.  why this isn't cold enough for snow i will never know.

You in a built up/town area?  Semi rural here on the edge of town and it often gets feels colder than predicted.

The ever unreliable car thermometer said 4C this morning (seemed about right) and 10C on the way home (it feels older than did this morning!). Neighbours thermometer reading 2C.

Hither green,so pretty built up although not the 'heat island' of Central London.Biggin hill just up the road at 2c.

1.7 here, so warmer than this mornings 0. something, a lot chillier then I expected brrrrr. With drizzle  falling. The hills misted out by the drizzle.

Hither green,so pretty built up although not the 'heat island' of Central London.Biggin hill just up the road at 2c.

I happen to live in that heat island. However it is not so noticeable during the winter here, perhaps that's due to that I'm next to cold waters (thames). Also where I live is suburb in nature, although very low lying. 3.2c currently it maxed out at 4.7c early in the morning - and the clouds do look snowy. :cold:

2.9C here now after maxing out at a sweltering 3.1c today. Drizzle all day. Dew point around 1c so not quite low enough to become snow grains. Definately the coldest day since the winter before last though.

by the houses it didn't feel so bad on the school run, but near the school(by the open fields) I had to put my gloves on, my hands were freezing. Then I was quite cosy.

3.5C here, with cold drizzle. Dark and dank - nearly every car had its full headlights on at 1:30 A filthy day and nothing to get remotely excited about - the car (with new battery) keeps indicating an ice risk - no chance of that here at the moment.
