After a low of 1.6 temps are now on the rise currently 2.6

 

A shame really as there is a nice frost.

Hi you do not know of the legendary BAP thread? All that talk about infamous bap?

I had some trouble and Tamara kindly helped me via PM:

"On your windows gallery there should be a rotate function for you to turn the pics the right way up Then you can download them once again" this snippet may be useful :)

Not a clue ! Was it in the lounge?

Unfortunately I was trying to upload from my iPhone- it was the right way on there!

Hi all, I'm back for some winter fun and games!! Well hopefully!! Already a smidge of hope for some snow next weekend perhaps?!! Even if no snow, lovely chilly and seasonal weather :)

Looking forward to our winter ahead on our SE forum, always good fun - well apart from last year!

morning  all talk about knife edge looking deep into f1  it can  rain, or we we dumped with snow     up  to Xmas eve  at the  moment!if the lot in model tread could  be getting grey hair with stress  soon

Turned out a bit brighter as the morning progressed, rain has stopped and the sun is out, windy though.  Mild is a relative thing to yesterday but milder it is.

If you've got Apple products, I recommend the Netatmo.... I think they're great! Dead easy to use as well.

I have a Netatmo  :hi: A self- confessed techie-twerp and use MicroSoft on my laptop. It's also synched to my smartphone. 

 

https://www.netatmo.com/weathermap Take a look. Click on a pin to see the current weather in that locale. There's just two of us in my Borough, relatively few of us in UK but extremely popular in Europe.

Hi all!  Loved yesterday's frost; really hung around here, with shaded areas still icy at 4pm.  This morning warmer and dull as expected, however, temps dropping nicely now and skies clearing.  A real nip in the air, which is perfect as off to the Panto.....Love Christmas, however, so much better with a bit of the white stuff  :D

 

Next week looks interesting!

Cool here, stopped raining but the wind is a feature now, hoping there will not be a frost in the morning due to the early start.

This is a good post I would not discount a brief snow shower, with altitude & evaporative cooling. :)

Conductive for snow its just a matter if we get any PPN 2.2 C, Dew point 0 C

Looks a bit rubbish for snow down here at the moment, unless you are stuck up the top of a hill ! Brief NNW winds followed by SW winds then back to  NW! A complete train wreck of a week,  weatherwise coming up!  Next weekend looks better!

Yes please just a few flakes would be welcome and certainly better than all of last winter. Temps have dropped with a brisk wind

Temps is fluctuating between 2.6/2.8 here for a hour or so now.

do you have cloud floating about!

 

Forgot to mention, Yesterday morning got down to -1.8c here, lower than all of last winter

Hello Essex Easterly, that is a very low temp! :cold: :cold:  I got down to 0.4c , had frost, before drizzle turned up and ruined everything! :(
