    Light rain showers early yesterday evening died out by 2200 and the rest of the night was dry with clear spells. Medium level cloud increased from the west before dawn and it became foggy by 0815.

    A cold and overcast day with slowly thickening cloud and moderate fog. Intermittent light rain began around 1400 and quickly turned to moderate sleet which equally quickly turned to heavy snow. The snow began to settle shortly before 1700 and by 1800 there was almost 11cm.
