The two brightest planets, Jupiter and Venus are getting closer and closer through the rest of May and through June. By the 1st of July, after sunset they will be visible above the western horizon less than 0.3 degrees apart. Let's hope for some clear skies to see the two worlds visually getting closer and closer together through the month of June

Managed to get a shot with my phone camera. It's not really very good at night shots.

Hope you guys back in the UK get chance to see it. Looks really good.

On the track of the moon there is the Sun, Mars and Mercury just under the horizon. Wow

Would it be Venus and Jupiter I'd be seeing early every morning in work 07:00ish off sort of ENE quite low in the sky it's a very bright star and a less bright one. I may try and grab a pic on my phone in the morning

The 3 planets are really close now, today was the first clear morning of the week (after the cold front had gone through) and they were bright until about 07.15 with Mars disappearing from view first (presuming Mars is the least bright) .
