Morning, well that was one of the worst nights for sleeping i have had for a very, very long time.

What are peoples opinion on storms today?? plenty out west in irish sea... could we see some develop later as temperatures rise?

Not looking as promising as yesterday im afraid. It seems the main area for storms is furthur west than expected.. Although i stull expect them to head north east as the day goes on so not out of the woods yet...hope so i have the day off and all the cameras ready! :sorry:

As predicted last night the first batch have avoided us more will develop through the day and it's these which have the best chance of hitting us

Quite a bit of cloud around this morning and very warm already into the mid 20's

Yes those storms just north of manchester heading to leeds area are developing nicely and moving more north east now so could be for a lively day ahead

Here's hoping for 2012..  Lightening hitting the Tyne bridge...epic floods and skies so dark it was like night! I travel all over the world but that was the best storm i've ever been in. :)
