Low cloud and fog drifting in close to dawn, visibility around  400 yards. Low cloud and fog quickly lifted this morning allowing a sunny morning so far. Continuing sunny, feeling hot by afternoon.

Another scorcher, with the temperature reaching 30C for the first time in August since 2013. Dry and hot with close to 100% sunshine. Maximum 30.2, minimum 17.2. Wind light N.

Never really warmed up here. I think the ridge went a bit further SE than thought. It's been sultry in the a.m. but thinly overcast and little sun; now it's much thicker and showery, with a drop in temperature. No heatwave here only about 22 max and now around 19 with a strong breeze.
