Just having a sleety shower here. Can see the ice on the roof of the conservatory.

Do you think the low's slower progression in the south will benefit us? Certainly benefits them.

Same here, faintest hints of sleet hitting windscreen when driving just then. Bodes well for later.

Im not sure. There not gonna get much snow from what i can see. Will be just back edge. The cold air is digging in behind it now. It is just over sw scotland now. Then we have our own shortwave coming down the west coast of uk and then another tomorrow down the east of uk but both should give us something

From now on the colder air begins to dig and by 15:00 Dewpoints will be sub 0. I expect snow reports to advance westward as the day goes on.

Turning to sleet here.

Colder air must be arriving here.

Cheers for this Chris. Was wondering other I could see then in real time?  I use XC-weather too.

P.s love the profile pic.  Whatever you think of his policies,  it's great to have a politician who genuinely cares.

I've got a new Oregon wireless weather station from Christmas I need to put up. I want to know these local temps and dew points!
