Looks like models are upgrading for cold winning but also sending the low slightly further south, but still could see heavy snow will less risk of rain/milder air. We are at -4C here. About 3 miles from the coast.

How many of us will be going to bed with the curtains open the next couple of days!! I sure am! Literally sit up and look out without having to get up and open the curtain, won't have a row for getting up and down twitching the curtains!!

Shortwave coming in the early hours, into tomorrow morning then, wind will turn to the north for the morning and turn light, feeling less cold Tuesday.

Felt bitter today, even though there wasn`t that much wind about again.

where you getting winds from the north from? - easterlies all the way till the weekend snowyowl9 - all our uppers weather coming from Siberia - ECM tonight - cold fairly constant without any let up up to 8th March - GFS - gonna be an interesting weekend - snow could be constant from Thursday through to sunday - mind blowing

Andy, I may need to speak soon about backing tracks, My 9yr old plays guitar

He sings and plays Wonderwall and Don't look back in anger

Few others but big one's are  also dead or Alive - Bon Jovi and Paint it black by the stones

Andy I’ve just seen Dereks latest tweet so glad we’ve got our supplies in. Thursday Friday looks like snow amounts from a distant childhood memory.

those snow amounts would be horrendous if they happen.

Positioning of the overnight front looks bang on the prediction to me looking at the radar. Missing South East Wales but travelling through mid Wales exiting around Swansea

Might see a dusting from that further east though

EXACTLY like 78 and 82, which, funnily enough, BOTH started on a  Thursday and ended on a Sunday, if memory serves me right

yep been seeing the problem for many days - week or so - so I can't get caught out with temps that low - risk of power cuts etc etc - i'd rather have the back ups and not need them than not have them and then find 3 - 5ft of snow up to the window sill and higher and no way of fixing the problems then - liza is a double kidney transplant patient - so need to keep warm as she does have weak immune system - so forewarned is forearmed
