I must say, I'm not seeing anything on the radar screaming thunderstorms. Looks more like patchy light rain.

Is this a bust forecast wise or is it still all to play for

According to the radar it's supposed to be raining here now, it's obviously evaporating before it gets  down to ground level, I think it's a bit of a bust at the moment but I'm keeping an eye on the radar around Brest

Patience people, late evening into the night, chance of a rerun of Friday night with another unstable plume bringing elevated storms.

The radar now is irrelevant to later on. Things will develop rapidly once the plume arrives as happened Friday.

Very narrow line of showers stretching from Bridport towards Wincanton, currently over this location.  Very calm and rain not too heavy atm.

Fairly moderate shower just formed overhead and now moving off in a Northerly direction.

BBC forecast seemed very unenthusiastic about any storms overnight yet the radio forecast (also BBC) an hour ago was saying about possible torrential downpours with thunder.

Couldn't be further from it here. Blue sky overhead at the moment although there is more cloud to the south.

Yep, beautiful now. Hazy sunshine and blue skies to the South.

Flat grey sky, no breeze , not sure what to think about tonight's  forecast .

 

A weather app I have popped up,and said get ready for heavy rain at 8 pm ! So we shall see . 

The netweather storm radar seems to show a line of showers heading straight for the region .

Looking at the radar I'd say 8pm's pushing it a bit. Although it looks like something heading in your direction just off the coast if it makes it.
