lovely and sunny but so boring here in the convective desolation that is downwind of the Irish sea during daytime.

I can see some disorganised towers to the northwest of me and that's about it.

Torrential shower just passed here, huge puddles left in its wake...not electrified though.

Thank was probably the remains of the storm that hit here. :)

The shower to the northwest of me has intensified. Hopefully this means that some afternoon convection is not out of the question.

I hope that the line of showers west of Manchester don't do a right mover and head SE:rofl:

Great! I am stuck at work with double glazed windows and heavy traffic outside my window. Unlikely for me to hear anything unless it is directly above me.

Ok, so not as much convection around now but can still see one or two small towers going up. The main bulk of the convective stuff appears to have drifted off to the northeast. Radar still showing some potential though with more cells popping up to my southwest so we'll see.

i was going to chase it but it didn't warrant enough and glad i didn't,it looks to have died down thunder wise.

The showers are avoiding the coast, but the thunder isn't.

I'll take that all day long.

No worries, at least you got to see and hear the storm. Hard to say whether anything electric happened here with all the noise. I certainly threw it down though.

Storms always seem to electrify over the same place
