    Yesterday. 

    Blimey...Moderate to heavy showery rain turned to sleet and wet snow overnight and through the early hours, collecting to a layer of slush and ice. Turning clear well before dawn with frost quickly  developing. Extremely icy this morning, with a layer of ice around 0.5cm thick over almost everything. Some frozen snow also. 90% cover of ice. Sunny spells through the morning and early afternoon. Turning cloudy mid afternoon.

    A dry and clear night but clouding over from 0700 with a few light snow flurries. Dry with a few intervals of weak sunshine and the occasional snowflake at the moment.

    Okay doke walk at Tissington in the White Peak. Arrived with a light Snow showers after about 40 minutes the Snow became heavier and moderate at times so decided it was time to go considering I was parked on a ice covered single track road. Back in Sunny Sheffield dry and cold with Sunny spells although I can see a shower to the north east of me. Overnight failed to get an air frost just a ground frost.

    Temp 3.1c, Low 0.6C, Barometer 1014mb rising, Wind F2 WNW, rainfall Nil.

    Snow holding in there well TM, Still snow in the fields here but consists of thousands of tiny snow patches around all the higher tufts of grass, Looks nice during low light..
