Wow thats an upgrade in my eyes!!not only does most of that look like being snow but its also been pushed back quiet significantly compares to 12z yesterday which had the band over eastern england and east anglia!!

I agree with ya shaky on the GFS 06z the back snow was leaving the east coast by 16:00 and it was narrow and now the GFS 12z is showing a thicker back edge band and it's with us for longer.

Looking forward to the nmm's output

Heaviest shower today, looks some even heavier ones coming, hopefully will start to settle soon :)

Looking seriously dark to the Northwest

Few snow flurries here! like mini blizzards when they arrive, certainly next few hours our best chance, as winds now seem direct NW

Yep looking good now, looks like we will have a gap soon but that is good aswel as now the suns down it will make the temps drop quicker so if anymore snow comes  later, it will settle even easier :)

Birmingham seems to be killing off any showers as they pass over it. must be the urban heat island effect?

We've had only two flurries today :-(
