Beeb has us down for twelve hours of heavy rain tomorrow.

Absolutely fed up with our vile snowless winters down here, roll on the storm season, at least we are in a better location for that.

You can bet your absolute bottom dollar that perfect winter synoptics will turn up in Spring!

Currently cooling here at 2.8c after an unexpectedly wet day, morning drizzle culminated in downpours this afternoon then a misty/clear ish evening.

Stopped at 3.4°C now. Not sure it'll go much lower looking at the temperatures further west.

Did stop at around 2.9c about half hour ago. Just checked now; at 0.7c, took quite a dive and much lower than forecast here.

-0.1c awaiting the warm rain 

Made me laugh on beeb national forecast earlier... forecaster said there is a change on the way finally but that does increase likelihood of some rain!? 

Whats been falling for the last couple of weeks constantly i wonder... be a lovely change 

 

netweather says 30% chance of snow early hours before heavy rain but im not staying up just to see some transitional sleet.

Yes I bet we will get the blocks in just the right places come April/May! So annoying our weather.

Cloudy with slight rain. Temp 11C and quite breezy from the west gusting 30mph

Snowing here in North glos. Temp 0.7 don't think it will be long till it turns back to rain. Slushy deposits on car.

Snowing in the Cotswolds also started off as sleet but now sticking to most surfaces,

45 metres. Quite surprised really. I think you could get a few hours of snow with your elevation.

Well a lot of despondency in here and i feel exactly the same....its been one of those winters where it seems that whatever the set up or synoptics we will end up with the filthy dross whilst those with elevation do a lot better.

If you have snow or have seen it falling fair play to you.

We do have a bit more of winter to come and i know things can change very quickly but is a couple of days of lying snow too much to ask.

Anyway enough of the moans and groans...lets hope those of us snow starved southerners see a bit of white winter cheer soon...

Sleet at 100m but I can see some white up at 150m. Basically wet and cold.
