We need some luck now and see some intensification...

Not going to happen but east of region might have more hope?

I remember back in Feb 2009 when this area was actually progged (if memory serves me correct) with a red weather warning for snow; until the district force field came into full effect :wallbash:

That was he most devestating evening ever! Everywhere around us got completely buried

The MAD thread seems to have disintegrated ?. There’s been no frame by frame analysis of the model runs today - well, not the same as usual anyway. Everyone is in the regionals chasing snow or looking at the forecast SSW I guess..

I cant get excited about a maybe ssw at +300 hours away that might or might not help our chances.

I’m off to venture out in it. If I’ve not reported back in an hour, I’ll have fallen into a snowdrift. Send search and rescue.

What a grumpy sod lol, the ssw is happening a lot sooner than that and the models are already showing some very tasty charts out in fi, but unlike usually where the good charts tend to stay out in the far reaches of fi, due to the ssw & other global factors in play that some very knowledgeable members have been writing about in the mod thread, those great looking charts should start counting down to the reliable time frame.

Surely you'll see a dusting from it, looks like it's intensifying! Slow moving too.

I feel punch drunk from all the let downs this winter has thrown at us. And it looks like we're stumbling back in to the ring for a final fight with SSW QTR

Saw the dusting on BBC as Mr IF gave his report so did a little lamp post watching. At least we had something.

Well the radar is telling lies... says snow and nothing is falling. That’s the final insult :nonono:
