Snowing here. Very small flakes at the moment :)

Checking the radar, it looks like you could do OK in a bit.

Just need those 2 heavier bits to join up and move south and we're in business @karlos1983. Easy right... :D

Been snowing for an hour or so. Mostly light but a little more than I expected so should be grateful for that

It’s going the right direction @matt111 but will it make it before breaking up ?

Hopefully. Wouldn't bet against it though.

Also now passing just to my east.

Think I’ve figured it out... is it the drop in zonal winds (through the floor) to signify the SSW?

What's Zonal winds? Boring warm SWesterlies?

I think it’s the winds high up in the troposphere, they circle the pole

What a grumpy sod lol, the ssw is happening a lot sooner than that and the models are already showing some very tasty charts out in fi, but unlike usually where the good charts tend to stay out in the far reaches of fi, due to the ssw & other global factors in play that some very knowledgeable members have been writing about in the mod thread, those great looking charts should start counting down to the reliable time frame.

Oh how many times have we heard this rubbish this winter LOL. Oh yes get the cold in. Oh wait no... no snow for you again ... Sigh!

Light snow for a short while now, its settling, so light that I can count the individual flakes on my garden furniture
