I managed to get some screenshots of radar images of some past weather events off those BBC weather forecasts of yore that I recorded.  Just a small selection.

22nd February 1994: frontal snowfall

24th June 1994: Massive thunderstorm that struck the SE 

25th January 1995: parts of Yorkshire hit by big snowfall

2nd March 1995: Central England and Wales hit by late season snowfall

5th February 1996: frontal snowfall hits western parts of Great Britain

 

 

8th April 1998: Midlands floods

14th April 1999: late season snowfall hits Bristol area

18th December 1999: snow hits southern counties of England and Wales

Wow I remember seeing that map in Feb 1994 on TV, with the 0 in the Midlands and 10 on the south coast! Funny which TV weather forecasts stick in your head....

would love to see the John kettley one from jan 87 broadcast at lunch time Sunday as part of the farming show would have been the 10th jan I think...
