That’s nowt, I’m expecting it to be at least an inch deep up here.

probably the worst snow storm since the famous three flake event before Christmas.

All gone very quiet here in Greater Manchester.  The first mini storm has gone through.  Just waiting for the main event which I guess will start at around 1am Sunday.

Hope so but I’m stocked up on Pot Noodles so I should be ok until the spring thaw if you have to turn around when the snow reaches the top of the tyre treads

Monday night/Tuesday morning coming into view on Euro4. This is as far as it goes up to 1am Tuesday morning. According to this the Peak District & Cumbrian fells have about 15cm of snow by then. Of course it's best to be sceptical with these charts as we know they can be wildly innaccurate!

Really not that windy here... A few 40mph gusts or so. We're quite protected in this wind direction by the Welsh hills so it's unlikely we will top 50-55mph during storm Ciara. If the wind was west or northwest (as in the Burns Day storm in 1990) it would be a different story.

Nothing too extreme here at present...was a bit gusty earlier but appears to have died down a bit now the rain has come through....that said we're still a few hours away from peak output.  SW winds never the most engaging of directions here with so much land track could do with a westerly/Nwerly for max. Effect.

Few lightning strikes just here off the Fylde coast. Heavy rain, wind not to bad, a bit gusty.

Interestingly, the wind seems to be on the decrease here after being gusty for an hour or so. I'm not sure where the main thrust of these winds are but I wonder if the strongest have passed here?

It’s very quiet here too. Would never know a major storm is upon us.

Well like the flick of a switch it's lashing it down here with very gutsy winds slamming the rain at west facing windows. Looking at radar we appear to be under some intense precipitation

Doubt it, Amber warning only started 10 minutes ago.
