Hi @TomSE12 I live 10 minutes away from the course. Currently very light snow has left a 'dusting' radar looks like more indound but ppn has been very light over the past couple of days since storm Christoph thankfully. Edit: Snow has intensified now.

That's brilliant Mark. Thanks for the heads up.

My Competition is based around ITV's coverage and I've had to do quite a bit of rearranging in the past few Weeks, due to last minute abandonments.

I will be watching ITV4's The Opening Show programme, for the latest situation at Haydock.

Really love Cold and Snowy Weather but it can cause havoc, to the Horse Racing schedules.

Regards,

TomSE12

Yes I think Manchester is going to cop it shortly, especially south Manchester I think. Just hope it’s cold enough for the snow to settle.

S Manchester will for sure. We're approaching 1cm already to your west it's coming down heavily.

Bloody hell it’s bloody rain!

Really:

We've had hail and light snow here in Walton le Dale and it's settled a bit

Same here near avenham park.  Hope the radar picks up, the meto app has snow and sleet symbols through the day.  Very unusual for the apps to show any snow here even on the odd occasion when it does snow.

I don't know about you guys but snow just brings the stupid kid out in me and it just makes you forget about all the problems in the world even for a short while.

I'm 42, the Mrs just doesn't get it lol.

Looks like I'll be walking alone later, going to wait for the next shower and time it right.

She won't whilst your watching the snow.

1ºC and a touch of white out there for us; not a lot though

No idea what it's trying to do out there; feels cold but wet...

I had to go out for a walk in that, at one point those were the largest flakes I've seen in ages. Smaller now but still fairly heavy.

Looks like the rest of the morning will bring a rash of showers to much of the region, some places will cop something more long lasting and heavy as they band together. Snowfalls on a Saturday morning - is there a better time!
