I think it’s all best we call this winter as it’s been a shocker.
Thursday for this area will just top it off I think, snow to a washout.

let’s now hope this cold pointless weather does one asap and we can get some nice warm sunshine.

Well, underpants have firmly stayed on which I knew they would, you're all safe! Could you send those 3 flakes over to the lakes estate seabreeze please?

You not having them there I’m my freezer to add to the 6 other flakes we got in December 😂

Well there is no surprise from me.

if an amateur can see it a week away why can’t the professionals!

Thursdays front will start off snow and then be a wash out.

Think you could be right NES.

We had a dusting in Guisborough but nothing more, I think the met are just too keen in putting out warnings these days, obviously been stung in the past and don't want to risk itself.

I was brought up on the lakes estate, the closes or the bronx as it was called haha.

I can also remember once being in the evening gazette for building a 10ft snowman on the field outside my house - those were the days !!!

That was the scene first thing this morning and it's almost gone. That sun is feeling rather warm out the wind

That's not bad, about the best in the region I would say from what I seen.

I’d be doing somersaults if I had that in my garden

Grosmont has had a bit of snow overnight, though it's melting quickly on roofs in the sunny areas, such is the strength of the March sunshine now

No I would be surprised ,comes at the wrong time and ground temps would be to high

Tomorrow looks a outside chance winds turn more north easterly for the majority of the day

We all know that precipitation is always under forecast on the models in a North Easterly!

Wow, the model thread really has turned into a will it snow in my area. Think I'm going to get bored of seeing the same snow risk chart posted 20 times in 10 minutes.

Not sure there's much chance of anything making it inland through the day from the 700hpa wind vectors. Poss disturbance after tea time might be our chance later on. Drove to airport & some cars nearer the coast with decent covering but fizzles out as drove back West

Doesn't feel that bad at all in Darlo the stronger March sunshine is certainly making a difference now

There is some cloud already beginning to bubble up here.

Just shows doesn't it, I believe you weren't expecting much and we were kind of expecting that and got virtually nothing.

Well I have had more posts removed, have had a warning from them for daring to mention the North East in thar thread. I am sure a siren goes off when I post as everybody else's seems to be fine, especially if you mention the word south !!

Midweek certainly looks to be interest to ourselves and spanning out to late weekend. Unfortunately not much faith in any forecasts this week due to the bizarre set up of how much cold is being sucked from the East into the Atlantic lows & the Greeny forcing. Such a shame there is no US lows anywhere to prop the Greeny high
