This storm was named by the Portuguese Met Service, who have a different list of names to the one we use in the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Netherlands.

 

(*ping @Jo Farrow* Referring to the end of the first paragraph "More later on why this is 'J' not 'C' for the storm name after Boxing Day Bella.", shouldn't the 'C' be 'D' as we've already had Storm Christoph?)
