KW collects the Scottish collective 2023 weather bingo predictions... ah yep not 1 of us had snowy conditions by October 14 😱🙉😆🥶🤣

Streamer coming through for @Huntforsnow @Kayemill

It's just the Dewpoint stopping that from being snow, decent for October nonetheless

Stronger band of precip moving south bringing snow into Cairngorms me thinks yes

Is it definitely October aye?

It was lovely - hope my chainsawing/wood splitting didn't spoil your peace!

I obviously know the whereabouts of most of the pictures but can't place the pond at all for some reason!

Ahh so it was you making all that noise 😂😂...

The pond is down the avenue of trees (as i call it).. past the phone box there is a small steading set back from the road  on the right hand side..(the folk that live there sold the house inluve in to the current owners..) i had a good history lesson off them while on a dog walk the other month..

A beautiful sunny morning here so went for a walk but having listened to the cold forecast I put on the long trousers and a fleece. After 10 minutes or so was boiling even with the breeze. Feeling a bit colder pm with the breeze strengthening and some clouds blowing through although the temp had only dropped a tad to 11C

Ah yes, I know where you are. Complete mind blank!

Another half decent day with plenty of sunshine but very windy now with the trees roaring away. Probably worse than the "storm" a few weeks back!

Reporting in for the first time this winter tonight, mainly because of the sleat hitting the windscreen this afternoon !

Good dusting of snow well down Ben Nevis today as well.

A proper winter feeling day.

Strong NW wind for most of the day blowing in some hefty showers in the afternoon, some sleet seen in one of those whilst visiting Inverurie; max of 7c and now 2c outside.

Plenty of sunshine in the morning, local farmer cutting silage at the moment, don't ever recall it being made this late in the year and a testament to the recent mild conditions...

And to think this field was only sown a couple or so weeks ago...

Great visibility today..

Cracking day on Deeside today, blue skies with the odd cloud scooting across and a decent drying wind. High of 11c, currently 2.8c and dropping. I’m expecting to wake up to a ground frost tomorrow, first one of the season.

Frosty start in Kirkcudbright too, at least on the cars.

Showery day, though warmer than yesterday, currently 9c.  Winds a lot lighter as well.

Unusual for a weather warning to be issued so far in advance, heavy rain Thursday through Saturday, one to watch...🧐
