Big thunderstorm over Newark right now. Frequent lightening, every 15 or 20 seconds, occasionally hearing shotgun thunder and getting lots of rumbles around us. Heavy rain in bursts. Its moving away North East now according to the radar. Good morning everyone!

A few light showers around 0430 g.m.t but the rest of the night was dry. Thick fog developed once the showers had passed and has persisted since then.

Dry until about 0700 then a band of showery rain(see radar), 0.8 mm, a low of 9.4 C

 

The rainfall yesterday of 18.2 mm is my wettest day this year
