While away in Cornwall I miss my Saturday hat-trick and another storm this morning. Only had one distant rumble yesterday pm in mid Cornwall and plenty of steady rain all the way home. :cry:

Now here is 18c,very humid,no wind and steady rain from an overcast sky.

Did hit 27c earlier.

it's been 24-29 here in grimsby all day, storm early morning - not sure of the time as i was lying in bed after a night of doing best man duties, so i couldnt be bothered. lol.

Torrential rain started at 9:45pm last night and lightning every ten minutes with quite loud thunder. Retired to bed after that and we must have got some heavy rain at around 5 this morning. Blue skies at the moment

lot of heavy torrential rains through last nights . lightening flashes between 11.45-12.15 last nights. very muggy sticky night. today is strated very dull and dark clods but brightened ups at times in afternoons! 25c. not as sticky as yesterdays!!!!!

It's been a fine fresh day here after a lot of rain overnight.

Top temp reached 19c with brisk NW breeze.

Evening is totally clear.

Temp @ 21;30 is 16C.

Had a hec of a lot a rain last night - heavy rain from just gone 23:00 last night until gone 7 this morning. But NO thunderstroms - just torrential rain.

Fine later this morning after cloud had cleared, and got quite warm again.

It is now clear.

Looking forward to possible thunderstorms at the end of the week.

why is it everyone is saying the south east is lucky to have all these storms sat up till midnight last night nothing, got up this morning to heavy rain only still no storms looking at radar they went round poor us in cambridge, just got a very sticky night with everyone else having the fun NOT FAIR :cry: :cry: :cry:
