Over the decades since the sixties we have been much more likely to have a white New Year than a white Christmas  .Colder weather always seemed to arrive between Christmas and New Year even up here  for low ground situations.

So I'm in dispute with William Hill as they don't use Met Office observations for White Christmas but British Weather Services, so they are the only company not to pay out on Edinburgh airport. Just wondering if anyone knows of this company & do they have some manned weather station of their own as the Met Gogarbank showed snow and is only 1.4m away so guess other companies used that result?
