I have had two frosts this week. Tonight I am prepared. I have my nightcap, pyjamas,

bed socks, hot water bottle, and a big teddy bear which is my partner Keef. ;);):)

PS And a hot chocolate which Keef is making me now. Mmmmmmmmmm

Still no temp lower than -5c this winter. It was that low last night, just about midnight, and seemed a stone walled certainty to drop lower. However I expect cloud cover associated with snow that got within about 5 miles prevented anything harsher.

The ground is frozen as are some lakes nearby.

My father said someone over town told him Bournemouth had recorded -9c!!

SNOW WARNING

Well we got it wrong - sorry

The snow falling in parts of the Midlands, the West country, Se of East Anglia and parts of the south east along with an area in the Midlands will continue for a little while yet. Upwards of 5-6cm has fallen in places, and not all on high ground. During the morning this will slowly die out. Furtther sleet and snow showers will spread into eastern areas of Scotland and England later. Another covering of snow is expected with perhps 5-8cm over the hills.

This will be updated later today.

-2c last night but not much frost, plenty of icy patches after the showers yesterday though :o

That's 15 (FIFTEEN) air frosts in a row and with the likelyhood of several more <_<

-2c again this morning but surely the last frost for a while.

The mean minimum temp for March is -0.6c but that will rise rapidly I expect.
