The readings for December 2022 but I’m suspicious of that particular station due to readings from May and October earlier that year.

There are some other readings I obtained from Starlings Roost Weather which may not be 100% accurate but I’ve included as date records. One example is the maximum of -0.5C at Braemar on October 31st. According to the Met office the official lowest October daily maximum is 0.4C at Glenmore Lodge on the 17th October 1973.

There are some other remarkable temperatures which appear to be valid. A maximum of -11.1C on the 14th November 1919 at Braemar is quite extraordinary. -13.9C on Christmas Eve 1860 at Glasgow is another.

A brief discussion on the atmospheric river that brought a lot of rainfall for Scotland back in early October of last year.
