Today provisionally saw the warmest January temperature on record in the UK, with 19.6C in Kinlochewe in the NW Highlands. It's been rather mild this past week, but will we see colder weather return in February?

It's when mid/late January is warmer than mid July, is 2024 going to smash all warmer or hottest temperatures on record . There's one thing reservoirs are full after all the rain hopefully we won't see hosepipe bans this year.

When will it turn colder? Oh I don't know, maybe in mid spring onwards when we don't want it....always the way innit.
