The Lockdown Spring of 2020

i remember going to West Edmonton mall (one of the biggest in the world) the day before it was closed for lockdown..there was literally me and two other people in the whole mall and only one shop remained open all the others out of nearly 900 had closed ..all the mall music was still playing but felt like you were in a some zombie apocalypses movie

It was an incredibly surreal time that’s for sure, it did make that first lockdown bearable. I don’t think I’ve ever had such a tan in this country before or been fitter! Spent all my time cycling and then sunbathing. It seems like bliss looking back but the cloud of Covid constantly hanging over you was never far away. 
 

Still an amazing spell of weather and something I would love after the absolutely horrid winter and March we’ve had!
