The storms over Belgium have died out, they were surface based.  Might erupt again in the next few hours from the middle levels. I'm betting low cloud will block any lightning for you.

Paris stuff moving towards Sussex but stuff behind it a bit more east. Could well spread west and east around the channel area.

 Thunders yeah took a bit to sort its self out and as soon as it did lovely flash

Suspect there will be more ahead as night falls with elevated CAPE moving in. How much though, again, we'll have to wait and see.

 Eagle Eye got my camera set up, i dont have a tripod so a little bit of improvisation has led me to creater an easter egg box and some mvoing boxes as one.they hold the weight of camera so thats good

 Sprites Thank you for the heads up, will have to hope things haven't become modified or a cold pool exists that moves over the North Sea as the storms over Belgium had been poorly modelled.

Took so long writing that , he is almost at flatterybattery level.

Following this storm it's quite close to me but a bit more western flow in the channel. It's the western most storm thats close to us at the moment.

 Bolt From Blue  The North Sea has scuppered many a lightning show with it's low clouds. 

I don't know for sure, but perhaps most activity will be London southwards/ westward.

A high of 19.7°C today. Managed to get out for a bike ride along the seafront. Very humid.

 Sprites Too true, especially with the rare direction any storms would be coming in at this time. We have had some good ones from this angle in the past so I'll keep watch and wish everyone else in with a shout a good show.
