Dangerous55019 I'm in Cheshire, not far from you. We don't get storms in this area. It just doesn't happen. Our last decent storm was in August 2020. Hopefully something changes soon lol

It’s been warm and sunny here all day, however we seem to be in a dry spot with zero activity happening. 😴

Schnee Storms having an extra impact in terms of flash flooding countrywide due to how wet the soil is probably.

Fairly quiet day today here, convection now starting to get going. Weak shower to my west and towers to my east, whether they'll do anything is another question.

Suns out in London but I honestly don't see the south of Englands yellow warning being valid from the met office today.

Yeovil and north of Oxford though seeing some activity.

I am in the Peak District near Buxton. I did think something might happen but it seems like the middle chunk of England is in a dry gap despite the convergence zone being forecast to be overhead and some good sunshine all morning.

Maybe something will kick off soon.

Risk of some elevated thunderstorms Kent through to Hampshire. Imo it could well be possible looking at radar and now the cloud and rain has cleared somewhat

Allseasons-Si Yes, it definitely looks like West and North Yorkshire is the place today.
