Snowmad79 I've just come through Stalybridge and seen the hills above white with snow so no evidence needed.

Snow has mostly been light to moderate, dusting but nothing troublesome atm.

radar looks good to the south but I think it will lighten as it moves north with the easterly wind in this area

Snow getting heavier, still not sticking.

I can see waves of white against the hill in the distance, it’s improving.

Very marginal here at 210m, looking east in-to the valley from the front and it's just sleet with no snow settling whilst looking west at the back towards the hills and it's settled snow all-around. There's already been a overturned car on the A5004 closing it both ways.

Was 75% snow 25% rain for a bit, but gone back to sleety drizzle.

Quite heavy here, if this can just maintain it might get somewhere.

Snow now in the North Midlands

meantime the rain continues here no sign even of any sleet, think it’s safe to say total non event here.

Grass and rooves trying to turn white. If it was a little bit heavier with a bit more evap cooling we would be in business!

I’ve just been out to the shop and it’s bitter. A strong easterly in the face and snowing quite heavy again. Snow not melting on impact with me so there’s hope yet. Snow on the hills, I’d say about 200 snow line.
