As expected, after a very mild day yesterday, the temperature didn't fall below 10 last night 10.2 was the lowest. So, in keeping with the last 25 years, an early date for this to occur.

Another very mild day today, 13.4. still 12.7 at nearly 6 in the evening, in the middle of winter. Crazy.

Hi everyone, I’ve not posted for ages but have been popping in most days just to see what you are all up to!

I've just checked my local BBC forecast and, lo and behold, not a single snow symbol out to Feb. 17. My level of excitement is therefore not as high as the Madsters!

 classylady how very lucky you were to see such views (and northern lights too). I have to ask though, why's everything white? Is that what this thing called snow looks like ? beautiful scenes though. Happy for you. Ty for sharing and making us all jealous too

The model thread is unbearable when a chance of cold weather arriving. 

There are countless people trolling in there on purpose but nothing done about it, yet other posts removed immediately if you dare say something that isn't 100% model related, can't even mention the Met Office or posts removed.

I think the models are showing all the fun on this one too far north for us. 

We have had 1 too far south and now 1 too far north. Will we get one more shot before spring? Will it be just right?!

Looks like we might get a flake, maybe two, on Thursday morning, before it's washed away by heavy cold rain
