alexisj9 Looks like maybe we're missing most of the showery conditions here with the Barometer reading Steady pressure. Guessing you are getting all of the showers down near the southern coast.

alexisj9 Why are you quoting me, I never mentioned a forecast?

Some of your posts are a bit odd 😬

Keeping an eye on tomorrow’s rain  - we are just outside the warning area here in Surrey but I guess it could trend a bit N & W ??

After a frosty, foggy start with steam rising of the fairly warm floodwaters this afternoon has turned into a cracker mostly blue sky and little breeze despite only being around 8c the strengthening suns really starting to make it's presence felt

Tomorrows rain and low approach/angle is ideal for when we had that cold in place to get heaps of snow but now it is too warm we get the precipitation. PMSL.

Neilsouth Yes I was thinking that too, heavy rain with hail yesterday here, more today, then about 10 hours of rain for tomorrow and into Monday morning south of the M4 from the channel low. HAD ENOUGH!!😵‍💫

Of course we all know that if it was cold enough for snow, it would miss us all completely and not even clip the SE coast.😭

Interesting start to the day - was -1.1c a short while ago with plenty of frost and ice after yesterday afternoons rain. Then a band of small showers popped up off the coast and moved in, causing freezing rain for a short period and the temp to shoot up to 1c in a matter of minutes! I could see and hear the ice melting off the gutters and dropping onto the conservatory roof below!

In fact, it’s going up so fast my weather station graph can’t keep up with the change, but since starting writing this post, it’s now over 3c. One of the fastest temp rises I’ve ever seen!

I’ll add a photo in a bit of the graph when it’s caught up, in the meantime this was outside just over an hour ago:

LightningLover its going to feel odd gales coming from the opposite direction, might cause slightly more issues than if it was a south-westerly gale with the same strength.

Another channel low giving us rain , after a frosty clear start. As i mentioned before the start of Winter the sea temps are so high. Had more rain then we possibly need, looking forward to a drier Spring.

snowray  Channel lows used to give us heavy snowfall in this neck of the woods. But the change of Climate has put an end to all that.
