I can hear but can not see the thunder approaching as I stand on the sea front at stokes bay,gosport due to a ruddy great lump in the way (I O W )

By the sounds of it I could be in for a bumpy flight home form Geneva tomorrow flying back into Bristol mid afternoon
should get some nice views of the thunder heads going up over France.

just had first hail shower of the day here in chandlers ford in hampshire
with grit size hail and some larger pea size for a time lasted for about 10 mins

The storm has just passed me here at chandlers ford it was like being inside the hook of a powerful USA supercell

thunder storm just coming ashore at Gosport lightning every 20-30 seconds some very heavy rain on radar

I can confirm that the shower just passed here 1/2 hour ago had a couple rumbles of thunder some large rain drops but not much else
will post if anything more happens

If anyone is interested take a look across the channel at the Cherbourg peninsular on radar and how that thunder storm has exploded in the last hour or so

long term lurker not a big poster unless its summer time storms
after a trip to the big smoke today left home at 5am this morning to a balmy 7-8 oC bit murky arrived to a very murky London which got increasingly colder as the day wore on.
The cold was being fed on a strengthing east flow, it was SOO nice to come back to a sub-tropical climate? if not for long

its a lovely day down here on the coast just enough sea breeze to make things comfortable
i will not be drinking as the dentist put me on antibiotics this morning

Never felt pain like this Jim, The woman on the NHS Direct thingy was berating me for the amount of Painkillers I have taken, keeping Nurofen in business this week with those 200mg Capsules!
At least I cant eat, might lose some weight!

Nightmare here Guys
John cannot get away from Dublin in time for his flight so is not able to make it over, I have other issues as well, after nearly swallowing the whole of the Pharmacy over the past week due to an Abcess the size of Colorado, the Metronodozole, Amoxicillin and Cocodomal have not cleared it one bit, have to go back to the Dentist this afternoon for more treatment as the pain is unbearable.
Sorry for the late ommission but I have to have 2 Extractions and try to get this abcess under control. Gutted
i know how you feel i have got abcess under the crown got to dentist tommorow morning hope the crown will not have to come off as it will mean £220 down the drain and another £ 220 to get it replaced and thats nhs
well the sun has arrived down of the coast here looking forward to a great weekend

All right just for you there is a mens toilet as well but if your really nice i let you use the trees in wood just beyond the BBQ area

with just a couple of days to go the sun i have ordered has arrived there should also be some nice sea breezes for the kite.
i will meet you all down at the BBQ site from about 2.30pm onwards the BBQ is a gas one so shouldnt take long to get cooking.

well there is plenty of room next door it is a army training base and then there is always the beach lol
looking at the models if they dont do a major u-turn we should some rather nice weather for the bbq weekend

I now have another smaller tent a so may camp whilst my good lady lords it in the hotel . so do i need to book now or will it do when i get there.

As far as I am aware you can book a pitch and pay on the day but the lady at the campsite said tents where no problems for space
