    Just had a nap lol but I haven't a clue what the temperature is here in Aber, just hope it falls enough before the front comes over!! Glad to see some are already getting a bit of snow! Also, is the band going to slow down any further??

    That is not the main band, the main band is not currently on the radar, it won't be here until after midnight! That is just what is in front of the main band, from what I can gather from other posts!

    Just had an e-mail from my uni warning about the snow tomorrow, though it currently expects to stay fully open! I hope this isn't happening sooner than expected?

    Just watched the Wales forecast online and it has the front pushing in around 1am and clearing here by 10-11am, is this correct? I thought it would hang around longer...

    Im quite excited now for tomorrow, with a chance of seeing 10-15cm even here possible? Looks like this was the outcome we were looking for with us all being in for some good snow!

    I think the temp is dropping here as well as its now proper sleet with bigger flakes of snow! Edit: well it keeps trying to turn to sleet but then reverts back to rain!

    Still just light rain/drizzle here in Aber, wish it would either turn to snow or stop to let the ground dry out before the main event tomorrow!!

    Well it looks like an improvement so far for us in wales, with most seeing an all snow event now, can't wait for the fun to begin! What time tonight/tomorrow are we expecting the snow to arrive?

    Just been out and its neither snowing or raining, rather these very small ice crystals - weird!

    Should also mean that those of us further west would be more likely to join in the fun with the westward shift and keep it more as snow? Lets hope it stays like this though!!

    Still got the lightest of snizzle here, though its not much its nice to see as I wasn't expecting it! I have better feelings about Fridays event for the west coast now, with some luck all will go well!

    I hope we keep the westward shift with no progression east!! Would be good if all of Wales could keep it an all snow event, so no one will miss out! Will have to see what its like tomorrow night I guess for any real answers and then Friday when it actually happens!

    I don't know whether to be excited or not, its marginal for me and need a westward shift to be in with a mostly/all snow event - are we likely to see much of a westward shift when its so close though?

    If only I was back in Bridgend!! Going by the forecasts it seems the west coast and possibly parts of the south/southwest could see a snow to rain event? Just seen in the mod thread that the current precip in Irish sea is following the NAE, which also has the band Friday moving in quicker I think? Not sure what will actually happen though!

    Still only in the yellow area but meto are forecasting rain both tomorrow and Friday, hope it changes to snow by tomorrow!!

    I hope to come on here tomorrow to upgrades for Wales, its about time we got something decent!!!
