    We have a few bits of very fine snow falling here now, first I've seen in nearly a year!

    Just taken from the model thread - this would be good as it keeps us all in Wales as snow?!

    I hope we keep the westward shift with no progression east!! Would be good if all of Wales could keep it an all snow event, so no one will miss out! Will have to see what its like tomorrow night I guess for any real answers and then Friday when it actually happens!

    I don't know whether to be excited or not, its marginal for me and need a westward shift to be in with a mostly/all snow event - are we likely to see much of a westward shift when its so close though?

    If only I was back in Bridgend!! Going by the forecasts it seems the west coast and possibly parts of the south/southwest could see a snow to rain event? Just seen in the mod thread that the current precip in Irish sea is following the NAE, which also has the band Friday moving in quicker I think? Not sure what will actually happen though!

    Still only in the yellow area but meto are forecasting rain both tomorrow and Friday, hope it changes to snow by tomorrow!!

    I hope to come on here tomorrow to upgrades for Wales, its about time we got something decent!!!

    Think this is my best chance of seeing snow so far this winter so with some luck things will go right for us in Wales and it will be an all snow event!! Will be interesting to see what the charts tomorrow and Thursday show us, maybe with a shift southwest to make it better for us would be great!!

    Being only a mile inland and 100m asl, would I still likely see snow from this? I worry that it will end up warmer here so will be more rain?

    Had some heavy rain here today and the wind has picked up, I hope for snow showers tonight!! Typical that back home got snow just after I moved back to uni haha oh well.

    Just looked outside to see the ground wet but missed whether it was snow or not - looks icy out there now though! Hope for some snow showers the next few days, is tomorrow our best chance for that?

    It most likely is evaporating - even when the thicker part of the band went over Aber I still had nothing fall, guess we are just too low down?
