Still drizzly stuff here, and temp over past hour or so been slowly dropping, its now 2.3C, i guess if it continues to drop low enough it could turn into light snow, will just have to see if it sticks around long enough for temps to get lower, thats if they do lol. I dont feel to bad at the moment about not really getting any snow, apart from the 5 mins earlier today as i think we are still in with a chance towards the end of the week, and maybe next week, so i guess not all is lost yet, isn't this still just the beginning of the cold spell? so still plenty of time for snow!

Temp now 2.8C, hope it stops rising and starts to fall soon, light rain now

Im not sure if it will fall as snow, atleast not here as the temp is still rising, now at 2.7C. i think some of the milder air from behind the front is over us at the moment. I will say it is drying up fairly quick though. Hope for snow showers or something overnight now!

temp now up to 2.5C and had no precip for a while now, when can we expect more rain/sleet/snow to come?

Your higher up than me, and i have had some snow so you have a chance! sleet here now and temps dropped now at 1.7C

Turned to heavy sleet and ice rain now which is turning slushy on surfaces, actually now turned lighter and to more rain now

Just coming back from cardiff and it was snowing, big proper flakes and everything, got back to bridgend and rain! hope we get some of that snow!!

Well its stopped here and temps back up to 2.6C with a gusty ENE wind, all we had was heavy sleety rain, no snow and i can't see it snowing atall today, i find it strange how the met office have the weather watch/warning for heavy snow here yet in their forecast for the area it just shows rain!! maybe our chances of snow will be better later in the week.

Yeah and im not sure we are gunna get anything from this today now, we don't seem to be doing to well in these last few cold spells, i think there is some sort of anti-snow bubble around bridgend

Same as that here, temp now 2.1C and slowly falling, so it might turn to snow in a bit, and if its heavy enough and last long enough then there is still a chance it could stick, its happened like that here before, just gotta hope i guess!

Well i think some of the milder air has come over us as its now 3.5C with an increasing easterly breeze. Im not staying up to much longer as if the temp stays like this it will most deffo atleast start as rain, so will see how things are now in the morning and hope for the best of luck snow wise for everyone!!

Its not here, my weather station is still saying it 3.2C here, it keeps changing between 3C to 3.3C, really do hope it starts to drop soon but will all this cloud cover i dont think it will, so im losing hope for when it starts here.

Hmmm why aren't these temps dropping here? grrrr, still 3.2c, not happy about that, cause it means it wont snow with those temps normally. With these temps staying around this im not sure we will actually get any snow here, atleast not tonight or in the morning.

I think it is due around midnight, not fully sure on that though. Not so good at the moment as temp is back up at 3.3C and dewpoint at 3.2C. I really hope it drops, i am no good at the forecasting or chart reading either but i actually think it will start of as sleet rain here first unless these temps drop intime for the front.

Im in Brackla, sometimes we can do fairly well for snow, but im not sure this time its hard to say.

Yep i've seen the forecasts from different sites and not quite sure what to expect, temp is taking forever to drop i must say, i shall be lampost watching aswell later tonight! do you think we will get anything?

Same, but it doesn't seem to want to drop for now, still, its not ment to get here till around midnight? so still plenty of time i guess! hope atleast one of us gets the snow. I'll try

Well temp now seems steady at 3.2c and dewpoint at 2.3C and its cloudy, hope the temps drop enough as the night goes on before the front gets here, but im not sure it will I think if anything it will atleast start of as rain here which might ruin any chance we had of any snow sticking, as any snow here will most likely be wet snow anyway.

I just hope now it goes right for once and we get snow down at my level, im not to hopfull anymore but i it would be really nice to get a good snowfall, i know we won't get anything like what the valleys and higher ground will get but still, a few inches would be good as this winter i haven't really had anything snow wise. Glad to see the temp is dropping now at 4.1C.
