    Some cloud now overhead, and temps up from 0.7C now to 1C, hope this is a snow shower on the way!

    Ok thats not so bad i guess, and im about 5 miles inland from the coast, so hope it does snow here rather than sleet, as it normally does when wintery showers come in from the coast

    Lol sounds like a good idea, i just hope now it doesn't take to long for the wind to change to a southwesterly and the showers to come right in overhead... not sure how long we will have to wait though

    The wind has turned more westerly now and the clouds/showers are ever so slowly coming further towards me, hope they don't take too much longer to get here!

    I must say, the huge clouds to my south look like they are ever so slowly getting closer as the move west to east! And there is cloud to my west aswell so maybe we will get something within the next few hours, just have to wait and see.

    Yeah i know, i dont think an inch is being greedy lol seeming the rest of the uk have had several inches from showers. Can see loads of cloud to the South but none really to my west, hope it all comes sooner rather than later.

    Yeah will do! There is a big dark cloud to my south looks like its moveing up the Bristol Channel and it looks to me like it might be producing something, hard to tell from here though.

    Lol knowing me i will stay up late hoping to get some, cloud to my south looks like its over the Bristol Channel, also some cloud coming in the distance to my west.

    Well i hope they do then, fingers crossed that tonight i might finally see some snow

    If the showers work their way up the Bristol Channel later thisevening and overnight, then would i be right in saying i could have a fair chance of getting some snow showers tonight? or would that be a bit to hopeful? temp 3.4c and falling, dewpoint 0.8C.

    It would be nice to see a good fall, just guess all we can do now if hope for the best, seeming its not been so good for us so far! I am doubting if we will see anything apart from rain at the moment but just have to wait and see, as there is still time for things to change.

    The sun is out and the temperature is on the rise again, now 3.6c, cloud to my south but the north and west seem clear, so no sign of showers, hope for atleast one later today or overnight! So there is a chance of seeing some snow later in the week then? or will it most likely be rain?

    Im not too sure, would i be too far east to get the showers today and tonight?

    Well doesn't look like it snowed here last night, temps dropped thismorning to -2.3c, temps now -1.7C with a clear sky. Hope to get some snow showers today atleast! This cold spell has not been very good for us here, looks like our best bet will now be a cold spell in Jan or Feb.

    NOT HAPPY lol ground is soaked from this sleet with puddles so even if it did snow, no real chance of it sticking now anyway unless it was really heavy, and seeming this is Bridgend, that wont happen

    Temp now up at 3.8C with what looks like sleet falling now, hope it turns to snow soon although with these temps no chance really, hope the temps fall soon so it can turn to snow!

    Temp now seems steady at 3.5C, hope when the front comes it will cool down fairly quick and turn to snow fairly quick, anyone got any idea roughly when the front will get here?

    Im kinda worried, as temps have been increasing, its now 3.3C and dewpoint at 3.2C, ground is damp so not sure if there was a light rain shower earlier as haven't long got back from watching Avatar - amazing by the way. But i have a bad feeling its gunna start of as rain or sleet, and the ground will become too wet so if it does turn to snow it won't stick

    Ok thats not so bad still not happy about the temp here 3.4C dewpoint still 2.5C, spits and spots of rain falling at the moment would be good if it snowed but with those temps i dont think it will, atleast not untill they drop further.

    We have cloud over us now, and temp is slowly dropping now down to 3.6C, but dewpoint is at 2.6C, really hope they drop soon, once the sun goes then the temp should drop faster. I just saw someone on metcheck say it looks like the snow band is petering out as it heads south. Does anyone here know if this is happening?

    Well a mixture of sun and cloud. no showers yet, not so happy that its gotten this warm now the sun has come out, temp now at 5.1C and dewpoint at 1.6C, just really hope it cools down soon! Im starting to doubt if we will get much snow here tonight, but then again i always doubt if we will get snow! Also not so happy that the net weather forecast has it starting as snow, but turning to rain here later in the night Still hoping for atleast some sort of covering tonight.
