Looks like some very light precipitation is starting to turn up on the western fringes of Wales. Exciting! -1c here
-
Just dipped below freezing, -0.1c after a max of 3.6c. Fingers crossed!!
-
I calculate that if the Netweather forecast for my postcode were correct, I'd finish the week with about 50cm of snow! Unlikely... but a nice thought
-
Latest GFS shows the snow hanging around into the week! Too exciting now, need to be patient, get off the laptop and go get food, coal and beer!
Min last night: -0.8c
Current: 0.3c
Yep, beyond exiting.. The charts at the moment show continuous snowfall for this location from Wednesday evening until at least Sunday morning. Ha!
-
North-east Wales remains snowless. Nothing to be seen on the Clwydians & the Horseshoe Pass. The showers are sleety around 400m but the temp was higher today than yesterday - a max of 5c. Light rain shower at the moment, current temp 3.1c
Rain is turning more to snow now, temp has dropped to 2.4c
-
Sleet shower here, temp 2.1c

I will be surprised if you dont see any snow over the next 3 days.
Sunday looks interesting for this location at the moment. But obviously the forecast can change so much over a few days... With even more doubt hanging over the forecast than usual I'd be impressed if the current forecasts prove to be accurate. Like you said, should get something soon though!

Not seen any snow here since mid December. Well, could have been some today while I was at work on the coast, but if there was it didn't settle. Showers heading this way by the looks of the radar.
Temp: 1.9c

I know the meto are warning for central and eastern areas tonight of snow further north - but the temps have had a chance to dip here tonight to around freezing and the front is slowly moving in from the west - you never know - may be a surprise for us come morning? - nae is having none of it mind - I expect dewpoints will be too high! - looks like warmer air is coming in with it too - from freezing around 6am to 10c by 12 midday!
Thursday might well get us going with some snow/wintry showers
Exactly what I was thinking... Temp here has dipped to -0.7c and looking at the north of England thread most people there seem to be reporting temps at least a few degrees above freezing

Min last night: 2.6c
Max today: 6.1c
Currently: clear skies, -0.6c

Saw the forecast of some snow for high ground in N. England & Scotland tomorrow - wondering if they've overlooked the possibility of a bit in upland areas of north-east Wales? Temp has dropped like a stone this evening, max of 6.1c today and currently -0.1c
-
Was hoping for a dusting of snow today but it's been sunny and cold, missed the showers here. Max temp earlier this afternoon of 3.8c
-
What is your location? And altitude.
Deeside, 20m asl. Rain has passed through and the temp is now steady at 3.8c
-
Raining in Flintshire but the temperature has dropped from 7.1c to 3.9c and there's some hail mixed with the rain. Looks good for snow higher up, I'm just above sea level.
-
Hmmm temp is dropping quickly - now down to 4.1c with some hail mixed with the rain. Surely it won't snow at this altitude?!
-
Raining here in North Wales but the temperature has dropped to 5.1c from 7.1c earlier. Reckon there could be a covering on the hills in the area tomorrow.

In North Wales the amount of snow you can expect varies massively with both altitude and proximity to the coast. It can be raining here on the banks of the Dee and snowing in higher parts of the same town (about 100m difference in altitude). For this specific location, north westerly winds are probably best... A true northerly can bring lots of snow a little further west (which would mean a large portion of North Wales) but a north westerly means the showers can come straight up the estuary off the Irish Sea. Sometimes this set up can even mean the low lying areas end up with more as the showers hug the estuary, but that's almost unheard of! Generally this is not a good spot for snow as we're not often exposed to the wind bringing in showers and frontal snow is very much weakened by the hills and mountains further west.

Morning all, snow coming down fairly thickly.. have prob had an extra 4cms so far. Temp -0.6c Roads out of town are looking dicey so am staying put!
-
There are a few flakes coming down here but it's so light that if you weren't looking for it you wouldn't notice. Temp is 0.2c after a max today of 1.7c
-
Well the snow last night caused chaos on the roads here this morning. We didn't have much, maybe a couple of cms but as the town is in a steep sided valley most roads out of town were a nightmare. It usually takes me about 15 or 20 mins to get to work but this morning it took me nearly 3 hours
-
Light snow, temp 1c. So frustrating watching the flakes come down so lazily
-
Mostly cloudy, -1.2c... hoping for more snow!!!
-
Light snow falling here, temp -1.4c
-
There are a few flakes floating around here at the moment, temp -2.5c

I think it's still on the move, just very slow. Looks like if it eventually makes it across the Irish Sea there won't be much for north Wales though
