Currently 8.3c here, 980hpa, had dropped but rising slowly, 94% humidity, raining heavey too, windy, it was a hooley but not sure if the wind has dropped.............I ain't going out to look I'll get wet

I think it's about 10c here, now clouded over. Managed to drag myself out to Asda for essentials and there was alot of surface water and a couple of huge puddles. Can't shake this lurgy off, had no voice for 2 days now, just a croak, even Alexa ignores me. I'm sick

The wind has picked up here, but I will say its not that bad, I think we have missed the worse of it (my dogs are puzzled by leaves blowing up in the air past the window)

Phew! Just got home, raining stair rods, so much surface water the roads are horrible. Heating on, doors locked, and pulled pork in bbq sauce cooking, but I forgot the wine!

I lived in West Lancs in '97, our power went off for 24 hrs then 1/2 power for a few days, couldnt cook our Christmas dinner. My sisters father in law lost his collection of aviary birds, they all perished with no heat

Currently 8.3c here, 980hpa, had dropped but rising slowly, 94% humidity, raining heavy too, windy, it was a hooley, my huge heavy sun brolley is lying in the border, it can stay there until tomorrow, not sure if the wind has dropped, my dogs are spooked by the sound of things blowing around.............I ain't going out to look I'll get wet
