Trees are rustling a bit, as always bit of a let down

Had a heavy shower about lunch time, the wind has picked up a bit, but nothing worthy of a warning yet. Is there more to come or is it a damp squib?

Rain just starting in South Liverpool, winds not picked up yet

Ugh no thanks. It's autumn for god sake! It's time for the temperatures to go down. This simply isn't normal or fun.
I know, I'm ready to wear my boots and jumpers

That’s a lovely thing to do and I know it’s a beautiful part of Wales but I don’t know about the local places to eat. You could try the Hundred House Inn but there’s no recent reviews on Google! Knighton has a variety of places to eat and it’s not too far back down the road. Have a great day out!
The Hundred House Inn closed down last year. We are taking a picnic now, and according to my weather app there is a chance of thunder. Will find a hill to sit and watch

Sorry if a bit off topic, but, on Thursday this week I am driving my 90 year old mum to Bleddfa, in Powys, as it is where she was evacuated during the war, and she wants to revisit. I am looking on Google etc for places to eat in that area but not finding many options. Does anyone on here know Bleddfa, any ideas most welcome. TIA

Highest I can see is Cordoba at 42, which you'd expect.
Cordoba normally gets temps into the low to mid 40's

WTF! My dad is a Sefton councillor I would've asked him to see what he could do if I had known. That's stupid. Was obvious that there wasn't enough instability today and air aloft would warm out quickly from midday so never a risk of lightning. Maybe on Monday though.
this is because the stupid Met keep mentioning thundery showers in every forecast for every day despite the fact it is obvious that it is not warranted. Do they have a different definition of thundery or something?
It turned out to be a lovely afternoon, weather wise. So many dissapointed people

Morning all!, Just heard that the local Maghull Fest has been cancelled today, due to risk of thunderstorms. I can't see anything on the charts or find any mention of thunderstorms on any of my apps. Am I missing something

I have some deadly addiction to strong and violent weather and natural occurrences such as tornadoes volcanoes and earthquakes. I’m 13 and I will watch the streamer cover severe weather in the usa, the last one I think I watched was in march or April where a huge tornado ripped through northern Little Rock ( state capital of Arkansas). I remember watching the huge mayfield Kentucky tornado rip through the city and just saying, oh no this is gonna be bad, the storm started in Arkansas and died off in Ohio, I just wish I had friends that could understand my nerdyness of weather
I understand your nerdyness, I am the same , dont get round to following as much lately but as soon as Ive hesrd of something Im all over it like a rash

Hi guys, off to Barcelona Fri-mon this weekend.
what weather can I expect? Will there be much cloud?
the online forecasts are never quite reliable.
any help is much appreciated so I can plan which day is beach day
Think you will find you will be in the low 30c's of a day and low 20's of a night, and sunny. I think Barcalona will miss out on the extreme heat, unless someone more learned than I can say anything more.
Extremadura in the South East area of Spain has had ground temps of 60c!! Im near Cordoba atm, we've had temps of 42/43c, uncomfortabley hot

Spain is looking at a new record of over 47c next week.
Until then, its flood recovery time!!
I'm in Spain at the mo. Heard whispers off locals that they think 50c+ could happen. Its currently 38c where I am, 41c forecast tomorrow. That rain up by Zaragoza we could have done with some in the South, the ground is rock hard and parched. Lots of flys and wasps gathering round the outside tap to get water
