Past experience should have taught us not to get too excited by the models, I am sure they will change/downgrade before we have to shovell ourselves out.

Was woken by very heavy rain here this morning about 5.30/6am, since then there have been several heavy showers, I don't know if its cold or windy I'm going back to bed

Beautiful calm evening here, with patchy light clouds, the stars look lovely and a definite autumnal nip in the air.

Rained heavy here for most of the day, some of the local roads where flooded. It has eased now but still light rain with a slight breeze, cloudy skies, my weather station is down, so no proper data.

Evening, it has been quite a pleasant day here, dry with sun for most of the day, currently 11c, and dry with scattered cloud, although I've just been out washing my car and can feel rain in the air. Wind WNW 12.1 mph, with gusts to 19.6 mph. Its bound to lash down now I've washed my car!!

Just checked the wind speed here, it has increased, but only slightly it's now gone to a westerly at 7.8mph with gusts to 11.3mph, temp dropped to 13.0c. still dry with patchy cloud.
