    especially if the precipitation is intense and dew points are low enough..remember snow has fallen in Bristol JUST by evaporative cooling (2 marks if that was in my exam..point and example)

    We may also have a risk of stalling looking at the ECM..very slim but it is there...(I think!)

    hehe...yes with so much uncertainty it may be best. It will be interesting to see if the ECM holds its streak as it done yesterday evening.

    I expect models are becoming confused by the SSW (or it may just be me!), it is interesting to see the models alternate like this, soon we should hopefully have a solution (I hope!) ECM to +144 - good lets see what happens with the GFS 06 and 12z runs today... 12z GFS, UKMO and ECM will be VERY interesting to see in terms of model behavior...

    Surely there are many chances next week...but that might be a "shot in the dark" statement because next week is so uncertain.
