Looks like the ECM has "back tracked" so all nice and happy in the mad thread this morning, my builders have let me down for Monday and are coming the following week, so if the snow (if we are getting any) could hold off until the 22nd that would be great
-
And they are back to being happy in the MT

Some wailing on the MT, as always it might be location based wailing

Went into the mad thread, slowly backs away

Lots of excitement on the MT, pleasingly for my own selfish reasons it looks like we are in for a dry spell from the 5th

I have the fingers crossed for at least a dry spell for a week or so from the 5th of December, getting a bit of work done outside the house, so drier the better, preferably mild as well

Aye. Been a miserable wet and warm Autumn. Still cutting the grass yet.
Can't say I'm hopeful for any snow soon. Hopefully Christmas will deliver!
Aye mine could do with a cut but decided against to stop the moss growing and to give the insects a place to hid over the winter!

Hello everyone, hope you are all keeping well. Bit cooler on it this past couple of days so has prompted me to come out of hibernation again! Hopefully we will get rid of all the mild muck for the next few month, I still have roses blooming which is a first for me so late in the year

That was a stormy night, did the gales come in a lot earlier than predicted?

Surprised at how quiet it is in here considering Fridays snow potential.

Nasty looking storm on the way for Thursday/Friday by the looks of things.

10 pages takes us back to June on here, shows what a boring winter season we’ve had this year with not much of interest on the cards for the foreseeable.
My main concern now is if we do get snow that I’ll have forgotten how to lamppost watch
I am mentally moved to spring mode now, the most meh of winters ever.

Decent wee frost here this morning, and it's only going to get colder as the week goes on
