    Feeling a bit chilly this morning, mainly sunny at the mo with some fluffy clouds floating past, had a dry night. Temp: 15°C Wind: 5 mph from WSW Pressure: 1,005 mb RH: 88%

    Had a T-storm around 4pm with heavy downpours - though no hail. Occasional thunder to start with, but the storm intensified as it moved away east with flashes every minute, good cg seen over Chelmsford at the time .

    A very heavy downpour with thunder has just cleared here, its heading NE towards Colchester now.

    Woken again in the night :-x , second night in a row, by an incredible deafening downpour at 4:30am with a waterfall coming off the roof - only produced two flashes and bangs though. Wind must have been touching gale force at the time as well as the top half of the gum tree in the back garden was bent almost horizontal .

    Brief thunderstorm here around 21:30. Nothing compared with the tropical downpour with wall shaking thunder we had at 1:30 this morning.

    Had a thunderstorm starting around 1:30am and lasting over an hour , extremely heavy rain came in pulses - most of the thunder and lightning towards the end of the storm.
