    Just checked my local weather station and the wind is now ENE........ is that right for a streamer?

    Temp dropped from 2.1 to -0.2 in the space of an hour and a half..... going to be an 'interesting' school run in the morning, I have enough trouble staying upright on a normal day Moon looks beautiful tonight though

    I had no idea what a Rime Frost was so have just 'googled' it..... you're right it's amazing!! Hope we get some of those.... I'm off to charge the camera batteries now in anticpation

    I sooo hope I'm one of those places!!! My son is desperate for a snow day tomorrow, and I could do without going on the school run after slipping on a snow covered ice patch today...... you'd think with the size of my bum I would have been well padded, sadly not

    Current temp -2.2 dp -2.6 Ended up with just over 15cm (just been out in my pj's for a measure..... neighbours must think I'm a loon!) which is EXACTLY what the more knowledgeable members on here predicted for my location

    I finally seem to be getting the heavy snow now (not sure what that's classed as on the Murr-o-Meter) but I am SO glad I waited up to see it........... not sure I'll be so glad when my son bursts in at first light wanting to go out and play in it though
