    Anyone know where Steve M has been lately? Would love to hear his opinions on what we can expect in the next couple of weeks. Have been reading the model thread but it all seems so up and down, and I'm far too inexperienced to understand most of it!

    Had light snow here since about 10am. Had several moderate showers and one heavy one this afternoon. Unfortunately not much of it has settled, pretty to watch though! Let's hope we get some more soon

    I am sooo confused!!! Went off, cooked a chilli, came back and its all doom and gloom! What happened to the snow that was due to hit later tonight and tomorrow?? Is it all over now?

    I also have a mad labrador!! Let's hope we get some more tonight and tomorrow, on the News 24 forecast a few moments ago Monday looked pretty good too!

    You're absolutely right, it is exactly like a rollercoaster....... and I HATE rollercoasters!! Never mind, I took my 6 year old son out for a walk this afternoon in the heaviest snow he's ever seen and his face was an absolute picture, so if I don't get any more I'll still be happy! (Although of course I'm secretly hoping for lots more tonigt)

    Same here! Had lots of light flurries but nothing of significance.... so far! Lets hope this afternoon, tonight and tomorrow are better for us

    Had a couple of showers this morning and clouding over again as I type. Sounds like parts of Kent did well last night! Anyone care to take a guess what my chances are for today and tomorrow in the CM8 area of Essex? The BBC had us under a lovely 'splodge' of snow on their graphics yesterday but that seems to have disappeared! Also all the snow showers that were across the whole of the south yesterday have disappeared!!

    All the pink splodges on the radar keep just missing me! I keep watching and thinking it's going to get me, then it skims straight past!! Hope this isn't the shape of things to come for the weekend
