  1. Bbc and the met still showing heavy snow over all west mids for 6hrs on friday and light snow for sat but on net weather forecast showing hardly any ppn for eastetn parts of our region lets hope bbc nd met office are correct

I also hope the bbc and met are right i see the mets update was 23.00 so thats whats keeping me interested. But im also worried by these shifts west which if they continue could well leave us with very little snow. This is only my opinion of course and based on my location (coventry)
  2. After the recent failed "beast from the east" and over almost overnight turn around from the models to the "pest from the west" why does nobody go back and look for the reason the models decided to change so quickly. All you guys talk about is whats going to happen i know its a "forecast" but surely by discussing why the models got it wrong will help us all spot us when this might happend next time, might even help reduce the pain of when it does all go wrong at the last minute.

im sure i seen on here that it was to do with shortwaves
  3. snow wise 2010 wasnt nothing compare to 87-90-91 and as some1 said earlyer on we still paying the price for it. I dont think we here in brum will c any snow tonight or the next few days it will just be the usial places that sees snow, sow its no point getting my hopes up.

Dont worry im not its still very early in the season. And signals look very good at the moment for a good winter coldwise.
  4. Remember that bish, think it was nick-named the cov blob !! anyone else remember!!

I remember as i was in the cov blob. But being in cov you kind of get used to it.But i also remember 1990 when i had about a foot to have that again would be a miracle
  5. It seems rather quiet on here today?

We've got off pretty lightly here in Solihull so far, nothing overnight and only an hour or so of light rain late morning. Strange to think we were in an Amber warning area.

    Bish

Its been the same here and after watching the national and local weather after the 10 oclock news on the beeb i got the impresion i would be waking to heavy rain. How can the forcast have been so wrong that near to the forcasted rainfall.
